Uncle greg';s Wedding CA '09

Some of you heard abt. me falling in the pond @ my Uncle's wedding, I have pictures to prove it. (Just so everyone knows, I fell into a pond @ my Uncle's wedding while playing a game, and that pond was the DIRTIEST POND EVER!!! It took a while to get all the dirt out of my hair that night)

The water was pretty cold. This is me after I fell in and had gotten a cut on my leg. OUCH!

 my makeshift outfit, all my other wedding clothes were SOAKED(and dirty). I am wearing my cousin's aqua shirt, my Grandpa's jacket, and a towel somebody found for me. Aren't  I gorgeous? :)

This is the hotel bathtub filled w/ the water Mommy used to wash my clothes. You can see WHY I call it the dirtiest pond ever!

But it was afun expeirence all in all, it'll make a great joke for my wedding someday. :)

Wicked- San Fransisco, 2009

It has been so long since my trip to CA in '09 but I haven't shown anybody really the pictures from when I got ot see one of my all time FAVORITE musical, Wicked. it is the pre-quel to the "Wizard of Oz" and the music is AMAZING. So I thnk I share so pictures now! :)

The pictures aren't the best, night lights in the city are terrible for photography. :(

Proverbs 12:1

I was reading the Bible the other day and found  this;
        "Whoever loves discipline, loves knowledge, but he that hates correction is stupid"
                                                      Proverbs 12: 1
How true this verse is, but it is hard  at the same time. The way I mean that is in like school for instance, you do your school work and it get graded whether you like it or not. But in order for us to learn it has to be graded so we can learn, and do better next time. But if your papers never got graded and corrected, you wouldn't learn as well so you would probaly be pretty foolish when you grow up. So i hope that you and I will learn to love discipline and in return love knowledge,

Knitting projects

I like to knit. OK I REALLY enjoy knitting. So I took pictures of some of my projects  to show you. So here are some projects I've made in the past year or two.

This was my 1st cabled project, a cabled vest, and there is a close up.

This was like my 1st actual wearable  sweater. i love the flared sleeves and like the wrapped front.

Gym Nite @ Grace

MMCHE (Mid MI Christian home Educators) has a gym nite every once in awhile were we have ice cream and the kids run around in the gym or on the playground. I took some pictures so here they are:

My friend's 16th b-day!

My friend Rachel just turned 16 and her party was at our house. It was a blast! Some friends she hadn't seen in a while surprised her by coming for cake+ ice cream. She was SO surprised when she saw them! Here are some pics:

Facts About Me...

Here are some facts about me and what I like, I haven't done one yet, so here it goes..

My favorite clothing store is Wet Seal

I love Taylor Swift-like sundresses. Long and flowey, LOVE it!

I also like lots of bracelets :)

My one of my favorite kind of shoes are Converse

I love to doodle alot ;)

I enjoy embroidery, this is a piece I made and got "best of show" on @ the county fair.

I play snare in my percussion class @ my homeschool co-op

My favorite color is GREEN

I love to sew clothes that are modest (and long enough for me)

The latest song that makes me cry is "My Heart Will Go On" from "Titanic"

I also enjoy cooking, these are stuffed peppers I made. Yum!

My favorite show is "NCIS:Los Angeles"

Seder

Our Bible study group did a mini- Seder. ( I say "mini" because we did a 20 min. one and if you do the WHOLE thing, it can take HOURS!) But the book we used to talk about it is called "A Family's Guide To The Bibical Holidays"  and it had a interesting parallel to the lamb they sacrificed and Jesus's sacrifice for us:

• The Passover lamb was w/o blemish    - Jesus was w/o blemish
• The Passover lamb was a male of the 1st of the year   -  Jesus was the 1st born Son of God
• The Passover Lamb was to be slaughtered, and eaten in the same night  - Jesus was crucified, suffered and died on the same night.
• The lamb was killed between the evenings @ 3:00 pm  -  Jesus died in the seventh hour, 3:00 pm

Charloette's Web

My bff Bridget was in a play, "Charlotte's Web" and my family and I went to it today. It was really cool. I knew like 4 people in it so that was cool.
The guy who played Templeton, who had a TON of facial makeup on, took a step towards T and T FRAEKED OUT!! It was kinda funny in a way, and the girl who played Charlotte felt so bad that she came over to T and for tried to say "Sorry" but T was in no mood for that. It was so funny.

Scavenger Hunt- Feb. 5th

My youth-group recently did a scavenger hunt and I invited a bunch of friends to be in on my team. It was so much fun!! We went all over Saginaw searching for the clues. Here are some pics:

The 1st clue was to go to a bowling alley a have everyone roll the ball down the lane.

The 2nd one was to go to 7-11 and get bubble gum, then everyone was supposed to blow a HUGE bubble.(We tried) 

The 3rd one was to go to Burger King and get the Funnel Sticks I thin they're called, and wear the crowns.

The next one was to get saltines and whistle "Jesus Loves Me" w/ the saltines in your mouth.

We went to "Fuzzy's" (A ice cream place in Saginaw) and sang the "Fuzy was a bear..." The we were given hot coco.

After a couple other clues we had to get a picturer of everyone in mid-air. That didn't quite happen. :)

Back @ church they had a truck a SMALL truck and we had to get the WHOLE team in the front of the truck, it was very tight.

The final clue was to do a pyramid. We added some flair to ours. ;)

P.S. If you are wondering if we won, I'll have to say "no". We didn't win, but that didn't really matter 'cause we had a great time with all our friends.

Spring Has Sprung Out!

I'm so thankful for the warm weather. My sibs and I have been outside alot. And here are some pics:
