Can you smell it? That delicate scent of burning leaves or the smell of a bonfire. Or that wonderful feeling when you inhale the first breath of spring air. The kind of weather that allows you to open up the windows after a long cold winter... That scent has been here at my house for a little while and it's a bittersweet reminder that winter is coming soon, very soon. And when it comes there will be no more windows open in the middle of the afternoon, or just running outside w/o any shoes on with not freezing yor toes! :P But it's come time to say farewell to the summer and hello to the fall. It feels alot like fall here in MI 'cause it's been in the mid 60*'s lately...*brrr*
I can't wait 'till th leaves turn gorgeous colors, even for a moment and capture their stunning color. There will be lots of pictures when they turn!!
Love,
Josie
P.S. howdo you lik the nice warm fire below, I can almost fel the heat!

It's been pretty chilly at my house, too! I wish that fire was here to warm my toes... :)
ReplyDeleteO My Gosh! I jsut smelled the same smell yesterday at my house too. I LOVE fall because it is my favorite season. It's the perfect time to just go outisde and enjoy not being hot and not being cold. And you don't have to wear to many layers, so you don't feel like a marshmellow. At our house it smelled like....toast, campfires, leaves, tea, and hot tube. That is bascially all the things we do in fall. LOL
