A Magnificant Love Story...

The kind of love story I described in the tittle is not a written story by a human author, well He is an author, but He has written *your* story in detail, I'm talking about our heavenly Father... He has written each of our love stories and they are more amazing than each of us can imagine.

My dear friend Brittany has been an very close friend the past 3 years even though there is a 6 year age gap between us :). I have watched her go from a recent home schooled high school graduate, to a college student, to a stay at home daughter who teaches piano and riding lessons, and finally a newlywed wife. I've watched her love story unfold just as God had written it...

She has just written a "Part 1" of what has happened in her love story, it is quite amazing! I actually was with her the first time she saw John {who is now her husband} after the event when they first met. I actually didn't know what to think about him. I mean he was nice, very outgoing and he was very funny! Pretty soon they became serious and I didn't know how to feel about it... And then they became even *more* serious and I got confused and kind of upset, and then they got married. I was definitely not that excited right after I found out, it was a big change with a friend who had always been a constant in my life. But now, my eyes have been opened and I'm soooo very excited for them! :)

Okay, tonight is the read-through for the play I'm in {'It's A Wonderful Life"} and I'm kind of nervous and excited to see who got what part.....mmmm. But for some reaso this past week has felt soooo long! I have no idea why. Random? Very!

Here are some pic I took this past friday at delta and tomorow I'd like to post pics from tonight at the theater....

On friday night it was my friend Anna's birthday and her party! And it was alot of fun, we wached

 "The Last Song" and there was not one dry eye when it as over. It was so good! But I cried really bad mostly becuase my grandma Cindy had lung cancer and it reminded me of her and how much I miss her.... But it is a really sweet movie and I highl recomend it! :)

This is Paige and Anna bringing Ellie {Anna's horse} into the barn. It is all out of focus and I thought it looked almost like bokeh. Maybe that's just me though!

I'm In LoVe WiTh A WoNdErFuL....

The title is from the musical South Pacific and Nellie Forbush is singing "I'm In Love With a Wonderful Guy" well, in my case it's different! {A lot different!}

For some of you who know me, you know I don't have any animals personally, my sisters and brother have animals but I don't. And those of you don't know me in person know that know! ;) It's not that I hated them, just that I don't have any. I've been wanting a rabbit deep, deep and deeper still down but I never got one. But I'm now "in love with a wonderful rabbit"!!!

At the petting zoo this week-end I was on my shift w/ some other kids in the club and I was told to just hold a rabbit and advertise it a lil' 'cause he needed to find a home. I stood there wondering how to do it and then Paige got him out and handed him to me and showed me how to hold him {I have basically NO knowledge of rabbits. I did read a whole book on raising rabbits recently} And I held him, he was a beautiful grey splotched on white rabbit and so soft! I held him and stroked him for about 20 minutes. And that's when I fell in love. :D

He was  a full size Rex {6 wks old} for sale at $15 and I could used my allowance to purchase him. I asked mommy after thinking about it all afternoon and she said yes! I was so excited. And we had room for him at home 'cause N has like 5 cages. With trembling hands I paid and signed name in the purchase notebook. I showed Paige the "SOLD" tag on the cage and she asked who bought it and I said me and we both got excited.

That was on Friday and today {Sunday} was the last day of the tractor show and I got to take him home! He is such a sweetie and I love him so much! Right now he's in his cage in the barn all safe and sound. I can't wait to work w/ him and take him to the fair and hopefully win! I'm sorry this post is really rather long but I'm so excited! :) Here are some pictures of him!

Oh! I have another naming dilemma.... again. But this time I have two names and I'll post a poll and you guys can vote for your fave!

ThAnKs MiRaNdA!!!!

Hello everyone! I'm having a perfectly idyllic afternoon, eating a popsicle, typing on my computer and listening to Glee. {I just love the music!}Oh! And having the electricity back on {will explain}

Well, my BFF Miranda came over to spend the night. We went to my church's VBS carnival and had a blast!

We both got face paintings and I got a red and white star

We walked around and ate sugary stuff {one of them was this apple that was sliced into slices and had carmel poured into the middle and had nuts on top. YUM!} and talked. We did do an inflatable and the candy walk and the ring toss. It was fun. By the time we got into the car our face paintings were itching sooooo bad so we scratched them off :) and then we were like "ahhhhh"

Well, when we got home we were going to watch the Tony awards {that I had recorded} and dress up to watch them. It was all going to be good. But God had another plan.

Our power had been out all day. We went out to lunch and was going to go to the library for a reading program, but the library was closed {because of the power} and McDonald's was closed as well. So we went to the other closet McDonald's and had lunch. And I got a Mocha Frappe, it was sooo good!

After lunch we picked up Miranda.

So we were hoping the power would be back on when we got home, but it wasn't {it came back on in the middle of the night} So Miranda and I took goofy pictures and were blinded by the camera flash. Well, not literally blinded but ya know what I mean.

In the morning we went out and took pictures of me. Miranda was really good and I wanted to share them.

Oh! I also have a update about my braces! I only have 4 more weeks of having them on! It's kind of funny, but G gets her braces on 3 days before I get mine off   :)

Friendship Blanket

I had a blanket my mommy made me, I had all my friends sign it w/ a Sharpie. Though, not only my friends signed this blanket, my team-mates from the year I played on a basketball team, a favorite baby-sitter and my friends Miranda, Jennifer, Bridget, Emilee and Rachael. Just recently, after not seeing it for 2 yrs., I found it. Oh, all the memories I had of friends that had signed this blanket, I remmembered my end of season party for ther basketball team I was on and my Dad coached, I remembered the sleepover I had w/ Rachaela nd all the fun we had, I remmebered the day Emilee spent at my house when she signed the blanket, Jenn's fancy signature as she signed,and also playing dolls w/ Bridget and Miranda. It reminded me of how truly precious friends are, and also what wonderous gifts they are from God. :D
